Lake Mary Construction

Flagstaff, AZ —Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 26 on the Lake Mary Boating Access Improvement Project.

Construction will occur on the Upper Lake Mary Day Use Site, The Narrows Day Use Site, and the Lower Lake Mary Day Use Site through mid-September 2009.

Project activities will include the following.

UPPER LAKE MARY DAY USE SITE- installing a courtesy boat dock- demolishing old toilet facility- installing sidewalk compliant with the American’s with Disability Act (ADA) to the new toilet facility and picnic ramadas- reinforcing ADA-compliant sidewalks by installing curbs

THE NARROWS DAY USE SITE- removing old composting toilet compartment - removing sidewalk leading from parking lot to old toilet facility/concrete pad- constructing ADA-compliant sidewalk to the new toilet facility


LOWER LAKE MARY DAY USE SITE- constructing ADA-compliant sidewalk to the new toilet facility- demolishing old toilet facility and existing sidewalk
These activities may cause temporary closures of facilities at various times between August 26 and September 11, however, no closures or construction will occur Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7 for Labor Day Weekend.
